I currently have an IDF sling and the hook will not go through the hole near the bottom of the butt pad. I have looked to my favorite vendors, BCM and Spikes but haven't found anything that will work that allows attachment to the stock its self. For the front I'm going with a rail mounted swivel. Here is a pic of my carbine. I am sure I want a two point sling and I want it to attach to the stock. I've seen a lot options people use paracord and make a loop to hook onto. The downside of this is options the back end of the sling can twist easily. You may be able to find a small carabiner or one of those chain links with the thumbscrew closure that would give you a non-twisting hook point. I prefer swivel cups options stocks stock slings that use them for this reason. No twist, easy on off, available in a variety of mounting locations. For QDT buy a CTR stock and sell your MOE. The slats in the MOE are for running a sling through; you then use one of the buckles to lock the sling in place and use the front rail mount QDT to get the sling off if needed. You can also replace the end plate with a QDT one; Noveske or DD versions and have a QDT spot at the sling of the lower.
